Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

In October 2022, agreements were reached between INEX and StroyBioLab LLC on the design and development of technical documentation for the re-equipment of the research laboratory and quality control laboratory of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums and the enterprise for the production of bacterial preparations of the Federal Medical and Biological agency (FSUE SPbNIIVS FMBA of Russia), located at the address: St. Petersburg, Krasnoye Selo, st. Svobody, no. 52.

The objects of reconstruction were the laboratory of the quality control department, incl. microbiological laboratory and QC laboratory designed to control:

• active pharmaceutical substances (API), intermediates and finished product (GP) based on capsular polysaccharides, recombinant proteins, the producers of which are Escherichia coli strains,
• APS and GP conjugate vaccines (PCV, MCV, Hib),
• enzyme preparations (Collalysin), the producers of which are strains of pathogenic biological agents of the III-IV pathogenicity group.

At the beginning of October 2023, as the work progressed, comments and clarifications were received from the customer on the relevant sections of the project. In particular, proposals for equipping premises with additional laboratory equipment and furniture. The comments were analyzed and quickly processed by a team of design engineers and technologists of the INEX Group of Companies, the corrected documentation was submitted for approval to representatives of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise SPbNIIVS FMBA of Russia.
