Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

In October 2022, during negotiations between StroyBioLab LLC and INEX, an agreement was concluded for the development of working documentation and the preparation of cost estimates for the technical re-equipment of the research laboratory and quality control laboratory located in the building of the Laboratory building lit. And the Federal State Unitary Enterprise St. Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums of the FMBA of Russia, located at the address: St. Petersburg, Krasnoe Selo, st. Svobody, no. 52.

St. Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums (SPbNIIVS) is the oldest scientific and production institution in Russia, which began its history in 1886 with the creation of special medical institutions for vaccination against rabies. In total, over the history of the research institute, about 200 types of immunopreparations have been developed and introduced into production. 

Today the priority activities of SPbNIIVS are:

• development and industrial production of preventive drugs - vaccines against influenza, hepatitis, tuberculosis, etc.,

• development and industrial production of anti-cancer drugs, antiseptics, for the treatment of skin diseases, etc.,

• development and industrial production of diagnostic tools for detecting tuberculosis, intestinal infections, coccal infections, sexually transmitted diseases, to determine the type and group of blood.

The strategic goal of FSUE SPbNIIVS FMBA of Russia is to take a leading position among enterprises and organizations of a similar profile in the market of the Russian Federation and countries near and far abroad, and we are glad to be involved in the modernization of the research and production facilities of such a large-scale enterprise.
