Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

The INEX Design Bureau  developed  an airlock for the only enterprise in Russia for the serial production of fuel supply systems and control of gas turbine engines - OAO UEC-STAR, Perm. The company's specialists carried out the delivery and installation of an air lock on the territory of the JSC STAR enterprise. All the structures of the facility have been validated.

The main purpose of an air lock is to clear the workspace, personnel, tools, etc. from dust, dirt and microorganisms. The task of designing an airlock is defined as the creation of a cleaning zone in the transitions between production and laboratory facilities with different levels of pollution. The tambour - the gateway performs the function of a directed airflow for each person who enters the cabin. As a result of air cleaning of surfaces inside the airlock, the possibility of contamination of the clean room with polluting  particles is blocked. 

The air lock maintains the required climate in the clean rooms, this cleaning unit optimizes maintenance costs, energy costs, and also significantly extends the service life of clean rooms.
