Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

Work has begun on a new ambitious project - the design and development of technical documentation for the re-equipment of the research laboratory and the quality control laboratory of the FGUP SPbNIIVS FMBA Rossii
During the business trip, INEX specialists inspected the premises being reconstructed, got acquainted with the existing production facilities and technological processes. A working meeting was held with the specialists of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise SPbNIIVS FMBA of Russia, technical issues, tasks and work schedule for the design of reconstruction facilities were discussed.
The objects of reconstruction are:

Laboratory of the quality control department, incl. microbiological laboratory. The QCD laboratory is designed to control:
• active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) of semi-finished products and finished product (FP) based on capsular polysaccharides, recombinant proteins produced by Escherichia coli strains,
• APS and HP conjugate vaccines (PCV, MKV, Hib),
• enzyme preparations (Kollalysin), which are produced by strains of pathogenic biological agents of the III-IV pathogenicity group.
The reconstructed area is located on the second floor of a 4-storey laboratory building

Research laboratory (R&D), including work with PBA II-IV pathogenicity groups. located on the third floor of a 4-storey laboratory building. The research laboratory involves working with PBA of various classes and etiologies (pathogenicity groups II, III and IV), working with mammalian and insect cell cultures, recombinant products, viral vectors, as well as conducting analytical analyzes and validation of methods that are not related to the development of using PBA.
In the course of joint work, agreements were reached and a long-term partnership with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise SPbNIIVS FMBA of Russia.
